Overview
Praksha is an all-in-one companion app for college students — attendance tracking, timetable, internships & jobs, and campus events. We built it to make student life easier, and that includes being straightforward about your data. We collect only what we need to run the app, we never sell your data, and much of what you track never leaves your device.

Information collected automatically
Like most apps, we collect basic device and usage information — device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic/crash data. This helps us fix bugs and keep the app running smoothly. It is not used to personally identify you.
Your attendance records and timetable are stored locally on your device. This data stays with you and is not uploaded to our servers unless a feature you turn on requires it.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide features like attendance, timetable, jobs and events.
- To show relevant internships, jobs and campus events for your college.
- To improve the app, fix crashes, and understand which features are useful.
- To communicate with you about important updates or support requests.
Where your data is stored
Account data (such as your name, email and college) is stored securely on trusted third-party cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard providers and rely on their security practices alongside our own safeguards.
Attendance and timetable data you enter is kept locally on your device, as described above.

Your rights & choices
You're in control of your data. At any time you can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate account information from within the app.
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent for optional data collection where applicable.

Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data and to promptly address any issues.
Age & eligibility
Praksha is intended for college students, who are generally 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
