1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, password login details, Google account details, Apple account details, profile photo, user ID, and authentication information.

We may collect contact information such as phone number, email address, organization details, and communication preferences.

We may collect event registration information such as event registrations, registration status, answers submitted in registration forms, ticket type, approval status, waitlist status, event preferences, and participation details.

We may collect attendance information such as attendance status, check-in time, QR scan status, manual attendance records, event participation status, and certificate eligibility information.

We may collect certificate information such as certificate recipient name, event name, certificate ID, issue date, verification status, and related participation records.

We may collect organizer information such as organizer profile, organization name, phone number, email, social links, verification status, event history, uploaded documents if required, and admin review records.

For paid events, we may collect payment status, transaction ID, amount, refund status, invoice details, and payment provider references. We do not store complete card details, UPI PINs, banking passwords, or sensitive payment credentials.

We may collect uploaded content such as event images, banners, organization logos, profile photos, speaker details, agenda details, event descriptions, and other content submitted by users or organizers.

We may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, app version, pages visited, clicks, session activity, referral source, approximate location, crash logs, and analytics data.

We may collect communication information such as emails, support requests, feedback, complaints, organizer-user communication, and responses to surveys or forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Allow you to discover, register for, and attend events.
  • Allow organizers to create and manage events.
  • Process event registrations, approvals, waitlists, attendance, and certificates.
  • Generate digital passes, QR codes, registration confirmations, and certificates.
  • Send event updates, reminders, confirmations, and important service messages.
  • Verify organizers and protect users from fake or unsafe events.
  • Improve platform performance, design, security, and user experience.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, spam, fake accounts, and policy violations.
  • Provide customer support and respond to complaints.
  • Process payments, refunds, invoices, and transaction records where applicable.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

We may share information if required by law, court order, government request, fraud investigation, user safety issue, or to protect the rights and security of Praksha, users, organizers, or the public.

If Praksha is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, restructuring, or asset transfer, user information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

5. Organizer Access to Data

When you register for an event, the event organizer may receive access to details needed to manage that event.

This may include your name, email, phone number if collected, registration answers, registration status, attendance status, and certificate eligibility.

Organizers must use this information only for event-related purposes and must not misuse, sell, spam, or disclose user information without permission.

Praksha may restrict organizers who misuse participant data.

6. Public Information

For organizers, public information may include organizer name, organization name, profile image, event listings, event descriptions, speaker details, social links, and verification status.

For events, public information may include event title, image, description, date, time, venue, category, agenda, speakers, organizer details, and registration availability.

User registration details are not publicly displayed unless a specific feature clearly allows it and the user has chosen to participate.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Praksha may use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, improve security, analyze traffic, measure performance, and improve the platform.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect login, registration, and other platform features.

8. Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with Praksha.

Analytics may help us measure page views, event discovery, registration flow, errors, feature usage, device types, and performance issues.

We use this information to improve the platform and make better product decisions.

9. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include secure authentication, access controls, encryption where appropriate, restricted admin access, logging, monitoring, and secure cloud infrastructure.

However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your account password and avoid sharing login access.

We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide services, manage events, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our Terms.

Event registration, attendance, certificate, payment, and audit records may be retained for a longer period where needed for verification, compliance, dispute handling, or organizer records.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

12. Account Deletion

13. Children and Students

Praksha may be used by students and young users.

If a user is under 18, they should use the platform with appropriate consent from a parent, guardian, institution, or authorized adult.

We do not knowingly collect more information from minors than necessary to provide event-related services.

14. Emails and Notifications

We may send you service messages related to your account, registrations, event updates, attendance, certificates, organizer activity, password reset, security alerts, and policy updates.

Event pages or platform content may include links to third-party websites, forms, communities, payment pages, maps, social media pages, or external resources.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party websites.

Some third-party service providers used by Praksha may process or store data on servers located outside India.
